So I’m in love with Lush products at the moment if you have been following my blog then you will know how much I love them! So there are two products from them that I always need in my life so here they are.

Snow Fairy Shower Gel.
This is one of their most popular shower gels of there year I know it’s only a Christmas addition one so I just had to stock up for the year so I have brought plenty of bottles to last me. I love them smell of this one it’s so sweet and the smell lasts a good few hours once I’ve finished in the bath and like it says on the bottle make a wish and wash that’s what I do! So let’s see if any of them come true.
Bubble-gum Lip Scrub.
I’ve been wanting this one for a while and every time I went into my local store they were sold out so when I got some finally I’ve fallen in love it makes my lips feel so soft and fresh afterwards and having the amazing tease as well just remind me of the old bubble-gum I used to eat when I was little. I love the colour as well PINK!

So there we go guys these are two things that I can’t live without, I hope you enjoyed reading this post and don’t forget to comment below I love hearing from you all.

Bakerdays Mother's Day Cake Review

Bakerdays Mother's Day Cake Review
21.2.16
Read post

Hey guy’s hope you’re doing well. So with Mother’s day on the way which is a perfect day to treat your mum to something special even if it is cake! So when I was offered by Bakerdays to try one of their Mother’s Days letter boxes cake I couldn’t turn that down I mean come on free cake! Who doesn’t want that.

So here is my review I hope you enjoy.

So a few days ago I had a little box come through my letter box and when I saw it had Bakerdays on it I was so excited to see and try there amazing looking cakes. When I was contacted about doing this review for them I was asked to pick the style I like and what photo and message I would like on top. So when I opened my parcel and saw the cutest cake in the whole world I was so happy to be doing this for them. What I love about the delivery of this letter box cake it came in such a cute little cake tin which is perfect to keep as memory and even saving some little bits and bobs in as well. The parcel with a little card saying “Enjoy your cake from Bakerdays xxx” which I think was really nice as well and it even came with leaflet and love heart sweets. The size of your cake fits perfectly well through your letter box which is even better knowing it’s all safe in the little tin it comes in

It beautifully wrapped in a nice cream and brown tin with the logo saying “Just for You”. Once you open the tin it was labelled with instructions on how to take the cake out of the tin, I love how they thought of every little detail to make your cake perfect because you all know what would happen you would turn your tin upside down and have you cake fall out and have a right mess everywhere and that’s not what you want. So it great that they tell you have to get it out. When I shown my mum her mother’s day cake for us both to try she loved it she said “That’s looks amazing! And looks so cute as well!”

When I cut into the cake I was welcome by a soft vanilla butter cream sponge cake which was golden to the colour looks amazing there was also just enough icing over the top as well not too much and not to less just the right amount you need for a cake. When I took my first bite it just melted in my mouth is sponge was soft and light it was like eating air in my eye was perfect! With the tease of the icing as well it all combined well together having a slice of the cake with a cup of tea is the perfect way to spend Mother’s Day. There are many different designs you can choose from on their website and many different sizes and flavours of sponge cake as well.

I would be ordering another cake from them in the near future there many birthdays on the way and having one these to surprise them with would be amazing. I would recommend trying one of the delicious cakes yourself, having any photo of your chose or any message you would like who wouldn’t love to be given one of these on their birthday? Even just buying one for yourself as a weekend treat with a cuppa would just be a perfect match there amazing sizes and amazing prices and you’re paying for a brilliant cake trust me you wouldn’t be unhappy with yours.

So go ahead and check out range of different products and cakes and go order yours today. You can contact Bakerdays by Twitter or even by Facebook or you can e-mail them at team@bakerdays.com

Thank you so much for reading my review and I really hope you enjoyed this post as well if you have ordered your very own letter boxes cake them please comment below your review if you have one.

Until next time!

Hey guy’s so Valentine’s Day is this weekend and wouldn’t it cute to make your partner these cute sugar cookies to show how much you love them? Not only are they cute but they taste amazing as well. There will make perfect pudding treats after a nice 3 course dinner if you been treated to one them this year. I hope you enjoy making these everything you need to know is below.

Let’s get baking!

Ingredients
¾ cup (170g) unsalted butter – (slightly softened to room temperature)
¾ cup (150g) granulated sugar
1 large egg (room temperature)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 and ¼ cups (281g) all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt

Decorating
Sugar Cookie Icing
Assorted Sprinkles

Directions
1.       In a large bowl beat together the butter until creamed and smooth this takes about 1 minute. Add the sugar and beat together again until light and fluffy for about 3 or 4 minutes, Scrape down the side of bowl so you don’t miss any mixture.
2.       Add the egg, vanilla and beat again all everything is mixed together this will take about 2 minutes, Scrape round the bowl as needed.
3.       In another bowl whisk the flour, baking powder and salt together this will also bring air into your mixture as well. Once whisked pour half the dry mixture into your wet mixture and mix until combined then do the same with the other half then you should start getting a dough texture if your dough seems to soft, you can add 1 teaspoon more flour.
4.       Add flour to you work top and pour all the dough on to your work to and knead until all combine and smooth, this can take up to 3 or 4 minutes, once you’re happy with your dough cover in foil and place in the fridge for 30 minutes.
5.       After 30 minutes remove foil and knead again, once its kneaded and more flour to your work top and roll out not to thick but not too thin, If your dough starts to stick add more flour on your work top.
6.       Once rolled turn your oven to 350’f (177)’C. Line 2-3 baking trays with parchment paper, the batches will depend on how big or small you cut your cookies.
7.       Cut out your cookies and place on your try, Use all you dough don’t waste any. If using a standard size cutter you can make around 18 cookies.
8.       Once there cut out place on your oven in middle for about 10 minutes until edges are golden brown, once cooked leave them to cool before decorating them.
9.       When there cool it’s time to decorate. With your icing place into a piping bag and carefully draw round the shape of your cookie but not going right over the edge, While its still wet add you sprinkles or messages you would like on it then leave aside to set, Setting time will take around 30 to 40 minutes.
10.       Once set you are all finished, Place them a cute little plate or a gift box and surprise your partner with their own cookie.

Well I really hope you enjoyed this post and I hope you enjoyed making this yummy cookies as well. If you have tried making these then please share with me I would love to see your cookies you and tweet me or share them on my Facebook page everything you need to know is below.

Weekend In Skegness

Weekend In Skegness
11.2.16
Read post

Hey guy’s so this weekend just gone I went to visit my grandma in Skegness and also to have a couple days away to forget everything that’s been going on recently as well. I haven’t seen my grandma for a good few months, my mum and step dad go and visit her every month and I would love to go to each one but I just struggle getting the time off work at the moment I’m surprised I got this weekend off to go and see her.  When my mum told her I was coming up to see her she was really happy because of how long it has been and with losing my grandad over a year ago it’s still can be hard but when I’m at her house I know he’s there with us and I’m not going to lie he does show he there with us as well for example just me and grandma where watching TV in the living the my step dads mobile phone went fly off the sofa onto the floor and I saw it out the corner of my eye as well and the location it was on the sofa it couldn’t of fallen off its self so spooky!. Another time he came to visit it when I was in bed and Mitsi (my grandma dog) came and slept with me for a few hours and one of my grandma’s photos fell off all on its own and scared the hell out of me when I was just drifting off! And it also scared Mitsi she knows him around and went running back to grandma’s bed. But moving on from that subject.

When we finally arrived at Skegness it wasn’t long until we was down my local pub playing some bingo, my grandma goes every Friday and I won’t lie I’ve never played bingo before and I really enjoyed it each game we played I was always two away from a full house I almost won £80 was so annoyed every time but it was still fun. Once we finished playing bingo me and step dad had a few games of pool while my mum and grandma were doing the pub quiz and as normal I kept losing to my dad every time I played but at least I tried. After a few games it came to a meat raffle which I didn’t even knew they did in a pub but we did win that one! And that was Sunday dinner sorted. When we finally got home at like 1am I had a cuddle with Mitsi before bed time.

When Saturday morning came but I won’t lie it came to quick felt like I hadn’t slept at all that night it went that fast. Me my mum and step dad went for a walk round Skegness for a good few hours we went to fishing shop for my dad to get some new fishing gear after we were done there we just had a walk round the town centre and being like every person we had to go in some arcades of course who don’t while there walking around there? I always go on the 2p machine’s I love them plus it get rid of a few pennies as well. First I went on the minion one but I couldn’t win anything out of that one and then I went on a different one I found and won three different keyrings I was so proud of myself! I know there for kids but its memories.

After spending some times in the shops and playing on a few games we were starting to get quite hungry so we went to my mums and step dads chippy shop that they always come to when they come down best chip in Skegness so I’ve been told. When we got there I wanted to have a burger and chips I just really fancied a burger and a nice hot latte to warm myself back up from the cold windy day. The food was amazing for price you get so much and I couldn’t even eat it all it was that much but I could finish my latte I couldn’t leave that.
Once we finished out lunch we carried on having a walk around all the different shops and brought our self’s some different treats, While we was walking round I was told there was a new aquarium that was finished and we went in to have a look and my step dad treated me to a look round it was amazing having our photos took as a pirate before entering. Once we was In there we was greet by Captain Black (I think that was he name) on a big screen just telling us the story on how he sea life’s friend arrived here once he finished telling us he’s story we started making our way round and there was so many different fish it was unbelievable! It was pricey but it was worth every penny you spend learning about all these different animal as well is great while we was walking around I touch a snake for the very first time in my life! I told myself I would never touch one but I did and it felt nothing like I thought they would. While we was also walking round we saw that you can have diving lessons and actually swim with the sharks and fishes if I could swim I would have had ago if it wasn’t too pricey as well but never mind, I love that day it was so much fun I would defiantly be going back in there next time I go.

Once we was finished walking round the town on our way back we called in to a local pub called The Grange and me and my dad had a couple more games of pool and I actually won these ones finally cause he always beats me, While we were there the pub fire alarms started random going off so we was told to leave the pub and stand outside which we did but it all happened because something went off in the kitchen, There were a couple more people in the pub and as soon the alarm went off some women right 999 right away when there wasn’t nothing to even worry about so that made the fire service come for no reason. I know it might sound like it was a good idea to ring but being there was a whole different story the people who were there also acted like they knew everything about the fire service but they look stupid as anything! I know that’s mean to say but trust me you needed to be there and you would have thought the same thing. When we got back my gran’s we had a few hours just to relax and unwind so that was another moment to spend some time with little Mitsi moo I love her to bits!

Later on in the night we went back down to local pub nearby to watch the entertainment that was playing that night it was really good he sounded great as well sung a few songs that I didn’t even know but still good night having some drinks and just being with my family is the main thing, As time went on we didn’t get home till about 2am so as soon as I got into bed I was in the land of Zzz I was that tired.
When Sunday morning came around I was a bit sad because I knew we was going home today and I wasn’t ready to go home yet but we had to. So we just spend the Sunday watching some TV but later on in the afternoon me and my step dad went back into Skegness for a walk round were I brought some more Yankee Candles yes I know! I buy loads of them but I can’t help it I love them so much! N the way back my dad wanted to go back to fishing shop to buy a new fishing box which he wasn’t sure he wanted to buy but in the end he did and to be honest it was worth it cause his older stuff is about broken now.
Sunday dinner time my mum and gran made an amazing beef Sunday dinner and I eat so much they were all surprised with how much I’ve eaten but I was hungry, I haven’t been eating well for a few weeks now after what I have been going through but I’m getting back on my feet now and started to get back to my normal self which is good. Once we finished out Sunday dinners we just watched some more TV and a good chat about different thing and as time rolled on we had to get back home ready for work the next morning.

So yeah that was my weekend away in Skegness I really hope you enjoyed reading this post guys, I’m sure many of you have been to Skegness some point in your life I would love to hear what you got up to while you was there.

Thank you again for reading my fellow followers

Much Love

Cathay is amazing teacher and helping me every step of the way and she actually quite impressed with me on my stopping and starting specially on my first lessons she told me and I was shocked as well I didn’t even stall once on my first lessons but yet again I did go round a corner at about 50mph! My third lessons was more junctions because I won’t lie to you all I am struggling with my turning and pulling off on these so a few more lessons are needed but so worth it in the end.

Cats the Musical Review - Christchurch Theatre Club

Cats the Musical Review - Christchurch Theatre Club
8.2.16
Read post
*All photos are taken by me*
Performed by - Christchurch Theatre Club
Location - Loughborough Town Hall
Director - Michael Gamble

Hey guy’s so last weekend I went to see the production of Cats which was performed by the first amateur adult group with Christchurch Theatre Club I was given these tickets for my birthday last year and the day finally came around where I could see my favorite musical of all time and I want to share with you my review on this show.
I hope you enjoy!
The musical was first performed in 1982, Cats tells the story of a tribe of cats called the Jellicles and the night they make what is known as "the Jellicle choice" and decide which cat will be sent to the Heaviside Layer and come back to a new life.
The Director/Choreographer Michael Gamble made a fanatic performance every dance had energy and just made you want to be part of the show, Each dance made of Cat come alive showing what there strong in and knowing is was an amateur performance all the dance as spot on I couldn’t take my eyes off them. The opening scene was so magical all the lights and smoke and the theme of the cats playing putting you on the edge of you seat. Then seeing all the cats coming out of every area of stage and even coming to the audience as well. The costumes, hair and make-up added great detail to each cat and made them come to life.
I’m so used to watching this musical on the DVD version seeing live with my own eye is completely different the thrill and energy just watching this show. Every arched back and licked paw, every extended leg and dip of the head created a convincing feline world. All of the performers had amazing singing voices as well and could hear every word and the style of singing fitted the character they were playing as well which I think was brilliant.
This story line is narrated by two main cats Rum Tum Tugger (Benjamin Hardy) and Munkustrap (Dale Collington) who both performed amazing showing you each cat and telling you how they live there life’s. Even the other Cats performing their own songs had perfect direction and the energy to make you sing along with them. My favorite song throughout the show was “Mungojerrie and Rumpelteazer” This has been one of my best songs even as a child. Mungojerrie (Aaron Murray) and Rumpelteazer (Laura Baker) had the perfect singing voices for each of these PURRRING! Cats the dancing was perfectly performed as well. Watching the big dance number with everyone dancing at the “Jellicle Ball” was incredible! All the dancing was eye catching and throughout the whole production this scene was my favorite dance of all every move was perfectly done.
Of course you can’t forget the most loved song of this musical “Memory” who was sung by Grizabella (Lucy Gamble) her voice and acting was amazing as soon as I heard the music playing and watching her come to stage to sing this number one song was breath taking and me being me I just had to sing alone with her.
So altogether I loved this performance I so glad I was given tickets and being able to watch my number one musical of all time with my own eye’s if I could of watch it for the whole week they were there I would of done. I would like to congratulate CTC for their amazing performance of this show if you have never seen this musical I would recommend you go and see it or even watch the DVD. The whole show just took my breath away I didn’t want it to end I just fell in love with the whole show so incredible everyone who was involved in this production were amazing and did a brilliant job Well done!

What I also loved about this show is in the 15 minute brake some of the cats came out on to stage just being cats looking at us and having photo with the children and the adults and of course I had to have a couple of photos with them myself.

*All photos are taken by me*

I hope you enjoyed reading my review guy’s if you have been to see this show then comment below and let me know what you all thought about it as well I would love to hear from you all.

Hey guy’s hope you’re all doing great! So first pay day of the year finally came for me and with selling Yankee Candles where I work I just had to stock myself up on some of favourites ones. I’ve been a big fan of these candles for many many years now and every time they bring out a new one I just have to try it out but I always go back to my old favourites and I want to share with you all today my haul I think I’m stocked for a good few months now.

enjoy!

Pink Sands
This one has been my favourite the moment it came out the smell is just amazing even thought is called pink sands and I always wonder how they think Pink sands would smell like. But every time I light this candle it just remind me of walking alone a beach and just smelling the fresh air even thought this has a sort of sweet smell to it is always makes you feel calm as well.

Sweet Strawberry
Now everyone knows what strawberries can smell like so this one is simple but this candle remind of the strawberries laces I used to eat when I was younger and sometimes now every now and again. If you love strong fruit smells to fill up your home then this is the one for you. Even having it on for an hour your room is full of sweet berry smell. Just mouth watering!

Baby Powder
Now you all know what baby powder smells like don’t you? Well then that answer this really. I love this one I think it’s perfect to freshen your whole house with everyone loves this smell come on who don’t really? Just reminds me of when I was little and used to put baby powder everywhere brings back so many memoires. Have it lit for about an hour and your whole house will smell amazing trust me!

Summer Scoop
This candle is more of a summer time candle to me. Having ice-cream in the sunshine while just relaxing with your family or your friends, The smell of this one is amazing just makes me want to have a nice scoop of ice-cream every time I smell it, It’s such a sweet smell I love my strong smelling candles to fill up my room the smell of red berries and cream is just beautiful!.

Lemon Lavender
Well it’s in the name really Lemon and Lavender! To great smells all in one a nice Zingy smell of lemons but the relaxing smell of lavender. This candle relaxes me so much before going to bed I always light this one before going to bed and just relax and once the smell hits me I just feel so calm that I can just go straight to sleep. If you love your candles and want one to relax you then you should give this one a try you won’t be disappointed.

Mango Salsa
This one is my number one out of all of them by far, because I love my fruit smells and I love the smell on mango when I saw this one I just fell in love the smell is to die for! So mouth-watering I have this lit for hours because the smell never disappoints me at all!
