Magnoila Boutique - Armstrong Mill Shepshed

Magnoila Boutique - Armstrong Mill Shepshed
Read post

Hey guys! I hope you’re all doing well. So a couple of a weeks ago I was offered a new job in Magnolia Boutique which was full-time assistant manager and of course I accepted it! I had a few days to think about it and I thought it would be a great thing to do because it was something I wanted to do I wanted to be higher then just a sales assistant and working in a Boutique as well is even better because that whatever girl loves am I right?
So a couple of weeks went by and it was getting closer and closer to building up this amazing new store we had 4 days to turn apart of Armstrong Mills into Magnolia Boutique so the mission was on was we moved the current shop Klass up to the top of store to make room for the new store once I helped them moved everything the fun started. My two new amazing bosses Venetia and Gemma brought everything they needed to turn the shop into what is it right now. They brought a range of new stock which include Dock of the Bay, Christa Probst and Esprit these clothes are such CUTE things perfect for anyone at any age as well. When I worked for Armstrong Mills we did sell this stock for Venetia and it sold then but ever since we started making this new store and they brought in new ranges of them designs they have been selling before we even finished building the store which it great of course!.

So the first day was bringing everything out onto the floor and getting everything out of the stands on hangers and choosing where everything is going. The time went to fast when we was doing this but we got most of it out on stands and we thought we would call it at day after that. The second day the store signs arrived and they were put in place and the old floor carpet was ripped up to leave us with an amazing wooden floor which looks so much better now. Everything was coming together even got out brand new till desk as well pure white with blue neon light around the top as well. Our wonderful helper Nick who is manager of another Armstrong Mill store in Cannock (Which is being redone.) Came and set up our new till and getting e-mails and everything sorted for us this took a lot of time but it Is so worth it in the end. The place was starting to look like a Boutique!

The third and fourth day we was just added finally parts and filling up the wall space with more stock we had Gemma did an amazing job with how all the stands look and the wall bays everything to stands out as soon as you walk through the door it just looks amazing. Venetia and Gemma  brought some cute things to make the till area stand out which include white roses, light up M, Sliver bowls with crystals in and a very cute little black board to write some sales deals we will be having on the opening.

SO THEN EVERYTHING WAS READY FOR THE OPENING. When we all stepped back and looks at everything that we all did us all loved everything about it. Of course there is a few little bits we still need to finish and bring in but it looks a completely different building now it stand out from the rest of the shop and I am so happy that I get to work for a amazing company with some amazing people as well.

Hey guy’s I hope your all doing well, I am sorry that I have wrote any post for a while as I haven’t been very well I’ve been suffering with a really bad cold recently and just not at the energy to do anything and mostly been sleeping it all off I’m still suffering a bit now but I’m not as bad as I was.
So I wanted to update you all with what I have been up to while I have been away a few different things of happened before I even got this cold.
So I hope you enjoy reading this post guys.
Promotion in my job
So a few weeks back the owner of the company where I work asked me face to face it I would be a member of her new store that she is opening the role I have been given is sales member/ supervisor I was so happy when I was asked to be in her store which open up Easter weekend. So if you live In Leicestershire area you should come down to Armstrong Mill in Shepshed and come and check the new store out.
Audition for Christchurch Theatre Group
I’ve been wanting to be a part of this company for a while now and when I saw they were holding audition for their next show of Legally Blonde I thought I would give it ago and learned all the songs I needed to sing and went but that’s when my cold wanted to play up on me so it made not get into the company but I can at least said I give it ago.
Driving Lessons.
So I have taken my 5th lesson so far and I’m at the point where I’m driving off from my own house and driving back my lessons are going really well and it feels great being behind the wheel and learning everything I need to know. I’m struggling with doing roundabout’s at the moment but with some more lessons I will get the hang of it.
My cousin Lewis’s 21st Birthday party and cake.
I can’t believe my cousin is 21 I still remember him as a baby and now knowing he’s this ages is amazing so he wanted me to make is birthday cake like you do each year but he wanted a start wars cake this time which I did for him to the best as I could. He had an amazing party with all he’s friends from college and everyone in the family came as well was amazing to catch up with everyone that I haven’t seen in so long it was a great night.
So yes that’s what I have been doing while I have been away with this cold and I’m hoping it will go sooner I’m not feeling too bad at the moment so I think it going slowly. But I’m fit enough to be back blogging again I have missed doing this for the past week.
So I hope you are all having a good weekend and looking forward to Easter as much as I am.

Hey guy’s hope you’re all doing well. So Easter is on its way and who doesn’t love a day full of chocolate? Waking up knowing you can eat chocolate all day long and not even care about it. I know I’m like that. So thought I would share with you my recent baking which is this amazing Chocolate Easter Cake.
I’m sure many of you enjoy baking as much as me so why don’t you give this one ago and share a amazing cake with your family this Easter?
Here is what you will need.
14oz Self Raising Flour
14oz Soften Butter
14oz Caster Sugar
8oz Coco Powder
7 Large Eggs
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
Mini Eggs (I used 3 bags)
Kit Kats (I used 3 snack packs)
1)      In a large bowl mix together your soften butter and caster sugar until soft and fluffy this would take about 5 minutes. Once combined is should look a soft cream colour. Add your eggs one at a time and mix together your mixture will look watery but don’t panic.
2)      In another bowl pour in your flour, coco powder and baking powder and mix together. Once all combined pour half of you dry ingredients into your sugar and butter and mix when it’s all combined add the rest of your dry ingredients mix together again until soft and cream.
3)      Grease your cake tin on the bottom and round the sides so once your cake is baked and cool it will be easy for you then to get out. Turn on your oven to 160’c and baking for at least 40 minutes to an hour.
4)      Once baked and cool it’s time to add a filling of your choice, I used Betty Crocker chocolate buttercream.
5)      When you have added you filling add more of you butter cream around the side of the whole cake and also cover the top add a bit more buttercream to top.
6)      Prepare your Kit Kats and start placing them around your cake side by side as close as you can (the closer the better) once the side of your cake is covered in Kit Kats it should then look like a basket.
7)      When your side is all complete pour on your mini eggs and spare along to cover the top of your cake.

And there we go your perfect Chocolate Easter Cake, Everyone in your household will fall in love with this cake just like mine did. Cut a slice of cake and make yourself a cuppa they go perfect together!
I hope you enjoyed this post. Keep an eye out for my next baking post if you have made this cake then please share with me and comment below I would love to see how yours. I love seeing your all amazing creations as well.

Until next time!
